Vehicle Information Management System

Inter Control, Inc. announces its new Vehicle Information Management System, VIMS, which provides remote service diagnostics and prognostics to AVL services. Operating on the CANbus, the VIMS is a user-programmable, rugged black box device that collects data from the engine and vehicle automation system, condenses it down to valuable information, and then sends it to the AVL modem for transmission to the fleet manager.
