Braketex® and Clutchtex®

Tribco Inc. has developed a 100% Kevlar® fiber composite friction material for brake and clutch plates, brake pads and shoes that lasts at least three to five times longer than old-style asbestos, sintered bronze and molded graphitic facing. Patented as Braketex® and Clutchtex®, Tribco facings are non-abrasive, won't score or wear down opposing, metal surfaces thereby cutting maintenance costs and reducing downtime.
