In full-scale OE dynamometer testing against off-shore clutch buttons, replicating Class 7 & 8 truck platforms (40,000 lbs/ft) with VSR23 VelveTouch® Carbotic and Ceramic clutch buttons, VelveTouch® buttons had up to 53% higher friction levels in slippage testing, up to 206% longer life in friction wear testing, and up to 146% lower iron wear in pressure plate and flywheel testing.
