1000-T3

Blowing fresh air into the exhaust system results in considerably lower emissions during the cold start phase. As a full system supplier, BorgWarner is developing new air pump technology that replaces the previous dual-pump system with a single, submersible, high-flow pump. The benefits of the new system, called 1000-T3, include reductions in cost, space and weight, as well as enhanced energy conversion efficiency. An improved pump housing and impeller design and above all a more powerful electric motor allow the 1000-T3 to achieve a higher air flow rate.
