Heavy-Duty Charge-Air-Cooler Line

Active Radiator introduces a line of heavy-duty charge-air-coolers (CACs)for Class 6,7 and 8 trucks. The charge-air-cooler line incorporates an extruded tube, exclusive to Active Radiator, that is a minimum of twice the thickness of welded aluminum tubes used by most OEMs. The extruded tubes improve structural stability to withstand the vibration, heat and expansion routinely experienced by heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. The CAC line has been proven to exceed manufacturer's specifications for heat transfer when subjected to wind tunnel testing. Additionally, the CAC line surpassed OEM performance requirements of 1,000,000 cycles, going 1,201,583 cycles without a leak prior to tests being terminated. All CACs must pass a 100psi pressure test with zero tolerance for leaks.
