LUBEGARD® ATF Protectant attacks an automatic transmissions #1 enemy: heat. Incorporating a unique, patented synthetic LXE® (Liquid Wax Ester) technology, which increases the thermal stability of transmission fluid , LUBEGARD reduces oxidation and acid formation that can lead to sludge and fluid degradation. The company claims that LUBEGARD reduces transmission fluid heat by up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, which can dramatically increase transmission life.
